Driven by a lifelong passion for learning and problem-solving, I have cultivated a deep interest in Biology and Mathematics, which guided my academic journey towards a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at UPM, followed by a specialization with my master’s in Synthetic Integrative Biology at CSIC. A pivotal experience during my academic path was the JAE-Intro internship at the CNB in Madrid, in which I delved a huge interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and their application within and for biology. This cocktail of interests crystallized into my PhD project at LIA, where I am committed to the study of AI applied to the study and design of bacterial consortia. This research aligns seamlessly with my lifelong attraction towards interdisciplinary approaches for innovative problem-solving in biological sciences.
